Diamond Shield and similar protective films worked hard for you — they took the rock chips, the bug strikes and the road debris that would otherwise have hit your front cap. But films have a service life, and in Florida sun that life is shorter than the brochure suggested.
Eventually the film yellows, hazes, cracks or starts lifting at the edges. At that point it's no longer protecting anything — it's a visual problem, it traps moisture against your paint, and every month it stays on, the adhesive bakes harder.

Will there be a visible line where the film was?
Often there is initially — the covered area was protected while the surrounding paint weathered. That's precisely why we include correction and blending in the process, so the whole coach matches when we're finished.
Should I put new film on afterward?
Depends on how you travel. Heavy highway miles, especially on gravel-prone routes, still justify film on the front cap. Many owners now opt for ceramic coating instead, or a combination. We'll lay out the tradeoffs honestly.
How long does it take?
Front cap removal and restoration typically takes several days. Full-coach film removal takes considerably longer. We'll give you a firm timeline after seeing the film's condition.
