Is ceramic coating really better than wax?
Yes, and it isn't close. Wax sits on the surface and lasts weeks to a few months in Florida. Ceramic chemically bonds to the finish, resists UV and chemicals, and lasts years. On a 40-foot coach — a surface nobody enjoys waxing twice a year — the labor savings alone justify it.
Do I need paint correction before coating?
In almost every case, yes. A ceramic coating amplifies whatever is underneath it. Coat over swirls and oxidation and you've just preserved them for five to fifteen years. We'll show you the paint under inspection lighting and let you decide with real information.
My Diamond Shield is yellow and peeling. Can it be saved?
The film itself, no — once it yellows or lifts, it's done. But the paint underneath is usually in excellent condition because the film protected it. We remove the film, clean up decades of adhesive, correct the paint, and most owners are shocked at what comes back.
How long does a full refinement take?
A correction-and-coating project on a large coach typically runs three to seven days depending on size and condition. We give you a firm completion date up front and stick to it.
