These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the legacyrvworks.com website and the repair, maintenance and refinement services provided by Legacy RV & Coach Works ("Legacy," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or authorizing us to perform work, you agree to these Terms.
1. Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes. Content — including service descriptions, timelines and general guidance — is offered in good faith but is not a guarantee of specific results, pricing or availability for your particular RV. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer or a professional diagnosis of your vehicle.
You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or to interfere with its operation.
2. Estimates and Pricing
- Estimates are provided in writing and are good-faith assessments based on the information and access available at the time.
- Estimates are not final invoices. RV repair frequently reveals additional damage once teardown begins — particularly water intrusion and structural issues.
- We will contact you for approval before performing work beyond what you authorized. We do not add charges silently.
- Estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Parts pricing and availability can change without notice.
- Diagnostic time may be billable where substantial investigation is required to locate a fault.
3. Authorization for Work
By leaving your RV with us and approving an estimate, you authorize Legacy and its technicians to operate your vehicle for testing, diagnosis and road-testing purposes, and to perform the approved work. You represent that you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to approve service.
4. Payment
- Payment is due upon completion unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing.
- A deposit may be required for large projects, special-order parts or custom work.
- We accept commonly used payment methods; specific options are confirmed at the time of service.
- Past-due balances may accrue interest and collection costs as permitted by Florida law.
- Under Florida law, we may assert a mechanic's/repairman's lien on vehicles with unpaid balances.
5. Insurance Claims
When work is performed under an insurance claim, you remain responsible for payment, including deductibles and any amount your carrier declines to cover. We will assist with documentation, estimates and supplements, but we are not a party to your insurance contract and cannot guarantee coverage decisions.
You have the right under Florida law to choose your own repair facility.
6. Warranty
We stand behind our work. Specific warranty terms depend on the service performed and any applicable manufacturer or product warranties, and are provided with your invoice.
Warranty coverage does not extend to:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from accident, abuse, neglect or improper use
- Damage from weather events, storms, flooding or acts of nature
- Pre-existing conditions or unrelated components
- Work performed or modified by others after our service
- Customer-supplied parts, which we install without warranty on the part itself
- Failure to follow recommended maintenance or care instructions
Parts carry only the warranty offered by their manufacturer. Warranty claims require reasonable notice and an opportunity for us to inspect.
7. Vehicle Storage and Personal Property
- Please remove valuables and personal property before leaving your RV. We are not responsible for personal items left in or on the vehicle.
- Vehicles not picked up within 10 days of completion notice may incur daily storage fees.
- Vehicles abandoned at our facility may be disposed of in accordance with Florida law.
- While we take reasonable care of vehicles in our possession, we are not liable for damage caused by weather, storms, theft, vandalism or other events outside our reasonable control.
8. Timelines
Fast turnaround is central to how we operate, and we provide completion dates in good faith. However, timelines may be affected by parts availability, supplier delays, insurance approval delays, hidden damage discovered during repair, and weather. We will communicate changes promptly. Estimated completion dates are not guarantees, and we are not liable for consequential losses such as cancelled trips or reservations.
9. Inspections
Pre-purchase and annual inspections reflect the condition of the RV observable at the time of inspection using non-destructive methods. An inspection is not a guarantee or warranty of the vehicle's condition, and cannot identify concealed defects that are not reasonably observable. Inspection reports are provided for the client's use in making their own decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, Legacy's total liability arising from any service or from use of this website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost travel time, cancelled reservations, towing not authorized by us, lodging, or loss of use.
11. Photography and Marketing
We may photograph vehicles in our care to document work performed. We may use such photographs in marketing materials with identifying information such as license plates removed. If you'd prefer we not use images of your RV, just tell us — we'll note it on your file.
12. Communications
By providing contact information, you consent to receive communications from us regarding your service, including calls, texts and emails. See our Privacy Policy for details and opt-out options.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, images, logos, the Legacy RV & Coach Works name and marks, and page design — is the property of Legacy RV & Coach Works or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pasco County, Florida.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website or our services constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
