Will this actually fix my wandering?
Usually — but only if wandering is the real problem. Worn king pins, bad alignment, mismatched tire pressures and tired steering components produce the same symptom. We diagnose first and tell you honestly which one you've got. Selling you shocks when you need king pins helps nobody.
How long do RV shocks last?
Typically 50,000 to 75,000 miles, but age matters as much as mileage — seals dry and gas charge bleeds off while parked. If your coach is ten years old on original shocks, they're done regardless of the odometer.
Is a steering stabilizer a band-aid?
It is if you install one to mask worn components — and some shops will happily do that. Installed on a mechanically sound front end, it's a legitimate improvement that reduces steering effort and crosswind sensitivity. We'll only recommend it on a front end that's actually healthy.
